Cement plants combine heavy, abrasive material with fine dust and, near the kiln and cooler, high temperatures. Conveyors run continuously, and many heavy rotating parts, from conveyor drums to large shafts, need replacement over the life of a plant.
- Heavy drums and shafts for limestone and clinker conveyors
- Sealing against fine cement dust
- Heavy turned parts and shafts for plant equipment
- Replacement parts built to drawing or sample

What Matters Most, and How We Deliver It
Heavy capacity
Rollers, drums and shafts up to Ø3,200 mm and 12 t.
Heavy turning
Large turned parts for plant equipment, beyond conveyors.
Reverse engineering
Replacement parts for older plants without drawings.
Certified welding
EN 1090 EXC3 and ISO 3834-2 welding of shells and assemblies.
Questions From the Cement Industry
Do you supply heavy rollers for cement plants?
Yes. Rollers, conveyor drums and shafts up to Ø3,200 mm and 12 tonnes.
Can you make heavy turned parts other than rollers?
Yes. Heavy shafts, discs, rings and sleeves through our heavy lathe turning service.
Can you replace parts with no drawing?
Yes. We reverse-engineer from the old part or a measured sketch.
Rollers and Heavy Rotating Parts for the Cement Industry
From the quarry conveyor to the cement silo, a cement plant depends on heavy rotating parts. We supply conveyor drums and idlers for material handling, and large rollers, heavy shafts and other heavy turned parts for plant equipment.
For older plants, we build replacement parts from drawings or samples, and repair worn rolls and shafts. Send your requirement via the contact page.
From quarry to silo
A cement plant starts with limestone conveyors from the quarry, continues with raw meal and coal handling, passes the kiln and cooler, and ends with clinker and cement conveyors to the silos and packing plant. Each section has its own roller demands: heavy, abrasive limestone, hot clinker and very fine, dusty cement.
Heavy rotating parts beyond conveyors
Cement plants also run many heavy rotating machines whose shafts, rollers and turned parts wear over decades of service. Original drawings are often missing for older plants. Our heavy lathe turns parts up to Ø3,200 mm and 12 tonnes, and we reverse-engineer worn parts from samples or measured sketches, so spare parts can be produced even when the original supplier no longer exists.
Planned shutdown work
Cement plants plan major maintenance around kiln shutdowns. Ordering replacement drums, rollers and shafts well before the shutdown, built to drawing and documented with EN 10204 3.1 certificates, keeps the shutdown short. Tell us your shutdown date when you request a quote, and we plan production around it.
Documentation for plant engineering
Cement plant engineering teams usually require material certificates, dimensional reports and welding documentation for heavy rotating parts. We supply EN 10204 3.1 certificates with every order and the other documents on request.
Typical enquiries from cement plants
- Heavy drive drums for limestone and clinker conveyors
- Replacement shafts and turned parts for plant equipment without drawings
- Idlers and stations for raw material conveyors
- Repair of worn drums and shafts before a planned shutdown
Send your requirement with photos and dimensions, and include your shutdown date if the part is needed for one.
