Rollers for Food, Bakery and Packaging Machinery
We supply hard chrome rolls, stainless steel rollers and rubber and PU covered rollers to food machinery builders and food plants, together with conveyor rollers for food handling.
For existing machines, we build replacement rollers and regrind worn rolls. Send your requirement via the contact page.
Rollers in food and bakery lines
Food processing lines use rollers for conveying, sheeting, forming, cutting and packaging. Dough sheeting rolls need smooth, hard surfaces that release the product cleanly. Conveying rollers must withstand daily wash-down. Packaging lines rely on nip, guide and drive rollers with covers that grip film and cartons without marking them.
Materials and surfaces
We make food-line rollers in stainless steel or with hard chrome surfaces ground smooth, down to Ra 0.2 µm. For grip and cushioning, rollers receive rubber or polyurethane covers specified to your food-contact requirement. Tell us the cleaning agents and temperatures your line uses, and we choose materials accordingly.
For machine builders and food plants
We work with food machinery builders on new rollers in series, built to their drawings, and with food plants on replacement rollers and regrinding of worn chrome rolls. Approved drawings stay on file, so spares can be reordered by reference.
Regrinding chrome rolls
Chrome rolls in food lines wear and scratch over time, which affects product release and hygiene. Rechroming strips the old layer, regrinds the base and replates the roll, restoring a smooth, cleanable surface at a fraction of the cost of a new roll.
Conveying rollers
Food conveyors use rollers in stainless steel or with coated surfaces. We make them in series to your drawing, with the sealing your wash-down regime requires.
