Port and terminal conveyors move coal, ore, grain, fertiliser and other bulk at high capacity over long distances, often outdoors in salt air. Pulleys are large, idlers number in the thousands, and corrosion attacks every steel surface.
- Large drive and bend pulleys for high-capacity conveyors
- Galvanized or painted frames and drums for coastal conditions
- Idlers and stations in large series
- Spares for stackers, reclaimers and shiploaders

Questions From the Ports & Bulk Handling Industry
Do you make large pulleys for port conveyors?
Yes. Drive, head, bend and take-up pulleys up to Ø3,200 mm.
Can drums and frames be galvanized?
Yes. Hot-dip galvanizing or painting to your coating specification.
Can you supply idlers in large quantities?
Yes. Idlers and stations are produced in series.
Conveyor Components for Ports and Bulk Terminals
We supply conveyor pulleys, lagged drums, idlers and stations for port and terminal conveyors, and large rollers for stackers, reclaimers and shiploaders.
For spares, we build replacements from drawings or the old part. Send your requirement via the contact page.
Port conveyors and their equipment
Bulk terminals use long, high-capacity conveyors to move material from ship unloaders to stockyards and from stockyards to shiploaders, trains and trucks. Stackers and reclaimers in the stockyard have their own boom conveyors and pulleys. The result is a large number of pulleys and thousands of idlers, many of them outdoors and close to the sea.
Protection against corrosion
Salt air attacks unprotected steel quickly. Drums, idler frames and stations for port service can be hot-dip galvanized or painted to your coating specification, and stainless options are available for the most exposed parts. Good sealing keeps salt-laden moisture out of idler bearings.
Supply in volume
Terminal expansions and conveyor replacements call for idlers and stations in large series. We produce them on CNC turning centres and with robot welding, so every unit matches the drawing. Containers ship directly from İzmir, and road freight serves terminals across Europe.
Stackers, reclaimers and shiploaders
Boom conveyors on stackers, reclaimers and shiploaders use their own drive and bend pulleys, often in sizes no longer available from the original equipment supplier. We build replacements from the original drawings or from the worn pulleys.
Typical enquiries from ports and terminals
- Large drive and bend pulleys for a terminal conveyor upgrade
- Galvanized idler stations in large series for a new conveyor
- Replacement boom pulleys for a stacker or shiploader
- Relagging of drive pulleys that slip in wet conditions
