Replacement Rollers and Spare Rolls
Exact replacements for worn or broken rollers and drums, built from your drawing, a measured sketch or the old roller itself. Including rollers whose original maker no longer exists.

Replacement Rolls and Shafts We Have Built

No Drawing? No Problem.
You have a drawing
Send it, with material and coating. We quote and build to it exactly.
You have measurements
Send a sketch with the main dimensions and photos. We prepare a drawing for your approval, then build.
You have the old roller
Ship it to us. We measure and reverse-engineer it, then build an exact replacement.
How We Rebuild a Roller Without a Drawing
Many rollers in running plants have no drawing: the machine is old, the original supplier is gone, or the drawing was never handed over. We measure the old roller, including the worn areas, establish the original dimensions, and produce a drawing for your approval before machining.
- Full dimensional survey of the old roller
- Bearing, seal and shaft details identified
- Material and coating chosen to match or improve the original
- Drawing sent for your approval before production
- The drawing stays on file for future spares

For a Fast Replacement Quote
The more of this you can send, the faster and more accurate the quote. Photos of the whole roller and close-ups of the shaft ends help most.
| Drawing | If available (PDF, STEP, DXF, DWG) |
|---|---|
| Main dimensions | Outside diameter, face length, total length |
| Shaft | Journal diameters, lengths, keyways, threads |
| Bearings | Bearing type or number, if known |
| Surface | Chrome, rubber, lagging, plain |
| Photos | Whole roller and both shaft ends |
| Quantity | Single replacement or spares |
Questions About Replacement Rollers
Can you make a roller without a drawing?
Yes. From a measured sketch and photos, or from the old roller itself. We prepare a drawing for your approval before production.
Can you replace rollers from other manufacturers?
Yes. We build replacements for rollers from any original supplier, including ones no longer in business.
Can you improve on the original roller?
Yes. If the original failed due to its design, material or coating, we suggest an upgrade before building.
Do you keep the drawing for future orders?
Yes. The approved drawing stays on file, so future spares can be ordered by reference.
Replacement Rollers When the Original Supplier Can't Help
When a roller fails, the fastest fix is usually a replacement from the original supplier. But original suppliers quote long lead times, high prices or nothing at all when the machine is old. A build-to-print roller manufacturer that can also reverse-engineer is often the fastest route back to production.
Repair or replace
If the old roller is repairable, repair and refurbishment may be faster. If not, we build new. Either way, we tell you which makes more sense after seeing the roller.
Any roller type
We build replacement conveyor drums, conveyor rollers, process rolls, chrome rolls and shafts, up to Ø3,200 mm. Send photos and dimensions via the contact page.
Upgrading while you replace
A replacement is a chance to fix the reason the original failed. If a shaft cracked at a shoulder, a larger radius or a better material may solve it. If a coating wore out early, a harder or thicker surface may last longer. When we see a weak point in the original design, we suggest an improvement, and you decide whether to apply it.
Matching interfaces
The most important dimensions of a replacement roller are the ones that connect it to the machine: shaft ends, bearing seats, keyways and mounting faces. We measure and match these exactly, so the new roller fits the existing bearings, housings and drive without changes on site.
Lead time
For most replacement rollers, the drawing stage takes days, not weeks, once we have the old roller or good measurements. Production lead time depends on size, material and coating, and we confirm it in the quote. For urgent breakdowns, tell us, and we plan the fastest possible route.
